I hope you found your perspective on turning 30. It's true that it gives you a lot to think about, but my 30th was my biggest and best b-day celebration ever and being 30 was one of the happiest years of my life so far. I hope the same for you! -- Cindy
Candice! As someone who recently turned 30, I completely understand the reflection you are going through. I understand the heartache of your comments about what you thought 30 would be... and the only thing I can say in response, is this: Instead of focusing on what you thought it would be... focus on what it is. And... how you got there. Believe in the moment... the memories... the relationships... and be thankful. I didn't think that 30 would be me living here in California, and having such a wonderful circle of friends that I celebrated with... but I am happy with what it is (and what it was).
