Candice, you crack me up! And I sure agree with you on wanting to start hitting people that don't use sidewalks or crosswalks! Boston is probably the worst I've been, but in New England it's horrible. There are signs all over out here that say stop for pedestrians in the crosswalk... people think that gives them the right to cross the road wherever they please. They don't even look for cars, they just walk! Girl, I can't tell you how many times I've gotten yelled at, honked at, cursed at, given the stink eye because I refuse to stop for someone crossing the road wherever they feel like. Some girl came over to where I parked a few weeks ago to kindly tell me I was supposed to stop for her crossing the street (mind you she was about 20 feet left of the crosswalk, not in the crosswalk) so I kindly suggested she see an optometrist because the signs say 'stop for pedestrians IN the crosswalk' not 'stop for morons not looking for traffic and crossing the street wherever they damn well please.' There, I feel better:)
I'm glad to know I'm not alone in despising people who don't understand that cars are bigger than them, faster than them, stronger than them, and they should stay out of a car's way.
